 Bio

Michael Tusing joined UBS Financial Services, Inc. in February 2013.  Prior to joining UBS, Tusing was Director, Investment Services Group at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown from 2005 to 2013.  He has over 25 years of financial services experience.  He is responsible for formulating strategies for legacy wealth transfer, pre-liquidity event planning and the use of balance sheet leverage.  His areas of expertise include estate/income tax, single stock concentration and securities-based credit facilities.  Prior to joining Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, he served as a Senior Executive on the management team at Bank of America’s Private Bank in Los Angeles.  In this role, Tusing personally managed many of the largest strategic relationships in the California market.

Tusing is active in several civic organizations.  He serves on the Weingart Center’s Executive Committee and is the Chair of the Finance Committee.

Tusing is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and holds an MBA from St Louis University.  He and his wife, Jennifer, reside with their two children in Agoura Hills.

The Weingart Center for the Homeless provides comprehensive human services to homeless men, women, veterans, parolees, families, HIV+ and other at-risk individuals, giving them the skills, resources, and hope they need to lead productive lives off the streets. Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles' Skid Row, the Weingart Center for the Homeless is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that breaks the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
