Empowering & Transforming Lives
By Delivering Innovative Solutions To Combat Poverty & Break The Cycle of Homelessness
The Weingart Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and it is recognized as the most comprehensive “one-stop” service center for homeless and at risk homeless individuals in the Western United States. As one of the best comprehensive human services organizations, we are committed to establishing a world in which all people have and maintain a high-quality productive life. Our mission is to empower and transform lives by delivering innovative solutions to combat poverty and break the cycle of homelessness. Your investment in our programs and services will help address the increasing number of homeless individuals who need life-changing assistance to become healthy and self-sufficient. We provide a continuum of support to help people obtain income, reconnect with family and friends, and live independently off the streets.
Weingart provides secure housing and a structured environment to ensure participants make a successful transition into a job and back into society.
Weingart provides treatment for mental health, substance abuse, smoking cessation, trauma, domestic violence, and family reunification with individual and group therapy sessions. For alcohol and drug treatment, we offer a 16-week intensive outpatient program using the evidence-based Matrix Institute model including relapse prevention and one year of after care.
We offer training in basic skills: Resume workshops, mock interviews, and job search techniques. Then clients are placed in specialized training. Weingart also contracts with companies needing employees to place trained personnel into jobs.
