I discovered belatedly though that one can easily live in Los Angeles and be unaware of the sheer size, scale, and persistence of the issue. Homelessness is a vast and growing problem here, with solutions that are multifaceted and complex. I joined the board of the Weingart Center hoping that I can add in some small way to the impressive work this organization is doing every day to implement programs that seek long-term results in tackling this critical problem.”

Scott Lange is a partner and portfolio manager at Camden Asset Management in Century City. Mr. Lange joined Camden in 2007. Prior to Camden Mr. Lange spent the last twelve years at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he was a Managing Director and head of the US Convertible Franchise Trading Desk and Co-Head of the US Convertible Franchise Business. Prior to that he was responsible, along with others, for building a proprietary trading effort at Goldman, where Mr. Lange focused on convertible and capital structure arbitrage and directional investments. Earlier at Goldman, Mr. Lange was head of the US Convertible Research and Strategy groups. Mr. Lange holds an A.B. in Engineering and Economics from Brown University. He currently resides in Westwood with his three daughters.
