Homelessness is a critical issue in Los Angeles. The Weingart Center Association responds to the overwhelming need for resources from the city’s most vulnerable individuals by providing the most comprehensive services of any agency in the area. Of course, our long-term, rehabilitative approach requires a substantial budget.
The Weingart Center Association receives funding from a variety of sources: State and Federal public funding; corporate contributions, foundation grants and individual donors.

Although we do get public funding, it is never enough to provide the diversified services desperately needed by individuals who find themselves homeless but wish to reclaim their lives. The majority of the public contracts we receive do not cover the operational costs— utilities, food, maintenance, staff and security— of our organization, and in many instances, we cannot sustain these public grants without matching them with support from the private sector, making your contributions critical to the success of the Weingart Center Association and its mission to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
Each year, the Weingart Center Association relies on the generosity of people just like you to support our fundraising efforts. Make a difference today by making a donation now.
