Why Donate
Los Angeles is the “Homeless Capital of the Country”, having nearly 48,000 homeless people on any given night. Thousands of people should not be forced to live on the cold, dirty streets because there isn’t adequate low-income housing, access to healthcare, education and employment opportunities. Item Donations
Bulk donations for food, toiletries, gift cards to local retailers, cleaning products and bedding/linens (new) are greatly appreciated because they help us minimize our operating costs. Your donations of clothing, personal garments and hygiene products help our participants gain a positive self-image and move towards self-sufficiency. -
Partners
The Weingart Partners is a dynamic group of volunteers that commit their time and resources to benefit the Weingart Center Association. Many of our Weingart Partners are young business professionals, but we also have artists and actors— we welcome all individuals who have an interest in solving homelessness, one of Los Angeles’ most pressing issues. -
