Non-Residential Programs
The Weingart Center Association has numerous non-residential programs to help homeless and at-risk individuals. We have an onsite medical clinic, employment services for job readiness and placement, and mental health treatment. Our walk-in Access Center provides information and referral services, case advocacy, and a wide range of other social services, including free, 24-hour voicemail service to people without phones.

AmeriCorpsAmeriCorps provides individuals and families in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles with specialized services, such as distribution of hygiene kits, clinical information, program referrals and service referrals. |
Center for Community HealthThe on-site Medical Clinic at the Weingart Center Association acts as the primary health care clinic for homeless and indigent residents of Los Angeles’ Skid Row. |
Clinical ServicesClinical Services provides WCA participants with mental health services such as individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as trauma, domestic violence and substance abuse. |
Community Voice MailCommunity Voice Mail (CVM) provides free, 24-hour voicemail service to people without phones, helping them get jobs and stay connected with family and friends. |
GROWGeneral Relief Opportunities for Work (GROW) is a short-term, intensive job preparedness and employment search program that helps its participants obtain permanent employment and become self-sufficient. General Relief recipients mandated to take part in GROW. |
HPRP- Rapid Re-housingHPRP is a short-term program that assists individuals and families who have recently become homeless with finding stable permanent housing by providing them with one-time financial assistance |
Project FatherhoodProject Fatherhood helps bring fathers together with their children by addressing issues related to absenteeism, substance abuse, violence and trauma. |
SAMHSASAMHSA increases access to HIV testing, substance abuse treatment and mental health services for high risk populations living on Skid Row, principally African-American and Latino homeless persons. |
