Volunteers help the Weingart Center Association provide life transformations for homeless individuals in Los Angeles. We would love to have you join our efforts as a volunteer!
There are many ways that you can help us as a volunteer. Here are just a few:
• Organize a clothing drive at your office. We are always in need of new and lightly worn business attire as well as new socks and underwear. Plus and extra large sizes are especially needed.
• Sponsor a participant event like a BBQ or holiday party
• Beautify one of our participant lounge areas
• Be a mentor to one of our participants
• Volunteer at one of our fundraising or participant events
• Become one of our Weingart Partners, a group of individuals committed to seeking solutions to the problems of homelessness within our community
We also welcome new and creative ideas for volunteer activities that will benefit our participants and organization.

“Our family first became involved with the Weingart Center 8 years ago when our daughters Rachel and Rebecca were 12 and 10 years old, and our experience has been one of the most rewarding things we've ever done as a family. For these 'Malibu girls', meeting, helping and participating in life-changing events has had a profound effect. As young women, the concept of 'helping others' is now part of their lives. The knowledge that one can 'make a difference' in this world is an empowering experience and one they will no doubt pass on to their children. We are most grateful and humbled by our experience and look forward to many more years as active volunteers.”
