Community Voice Mail

One of the most difficult barriers for the homeless comes when a potential employer cannot reach them for a life-changing opportunity. The Weingart Center proudly offers Community Voice Mail, a service that provides up to 681 free voice mail boxes for people who are both residents in our programs, the homeless community, and those entrenched in poverty across Los Angeles County. The service works like any other voice mail service; clients receive a direct-dial number (no extensions), can record a personalized greeting, and can listen to their messages privately by calling a toll-free number. The service never identifies the user as a social services client.

The Weingart Center is the Los Angeles Area Administrator for Springwire’s Community Voice Mail service.
