January is Poverty Awareness Month, a time for us all to examine our commitment to helping those in need.

Poverty not only affects the individual, it also affects our communities, causes children to underperform in school, creates inter-generational issues, compounds food insecurities, and leads to health issues such as malnutrition and psychological damage.

Please join the Weingart Center as we reaffirm our commitment to helping those experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles and bringing awareness to the global issue of poverty.
